Hi Dem, Thank you for your question. Here is a link to a video from YouTube that you may reference on to replace a heater element on a NuTone Broan fan light that may help you, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yl7sKzTObxc. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

After a shower, turned the heat function on and quickly noted smoke and an orange glow in the unit! Heating element? Thoughts or suggestions as I am not an electrician and a fire is not a desired result!

Mark for model number QTXN110HL asked on 2020-01-19

Hi Mark. With risk of fire and smoke we recommend a qualified tech to take a look in person. That said it is probably a shorted/bad motor/heating element or wire harness. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

The heater stopped working the other day. My wife said she heard a "pop" and then no heat. Does that sound like the heating element has failed again? If so, I want to make sure I get the correct replacement part. Please advise. Thank you.

Chris for model number broan-nutone QTX110HL asked on 2019-11-26

Hello Chris, thank you for your inquiry. The correct heating element for your model QTX110HL is part number S97020888. I hope this information helps.

I ordered several of these replacement parts from ereplacement parts years ago and installed them in bathroom fans that were vintage 2012. The replacements lasted about two weeks. The heating element appeared to be okay so the problem was most likely with the Microtemp thermal fuse. I have not replaced them since. Have the replacement elements been redesigned or has quality controlled improved such that I can be comfortable with ordering another set of these?

Stephen for model number Nutone S97016565 asked on 2019-11-25

Hello Stephen and thanks for writing. Sorry to hear that they did not last, as we are only selling OEM parts, however you could have returned them right when they malfunctioned for a refund. We do not know if the manufacturer has made changes to the newer parts you would have to call them directly. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.
